Funeral services for Mrs. Frances V. Watts, age 76 of Lineville, will be Monday, March 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. Claude Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church (North) Cemetery.
Mrs. Watts passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Clay County Hospital. A native of Clay County, she was a former resident of Morgan City, LA, but lived most of her life in Clay County. Mrs. Watts had been employed as a seamstress for Sewell Manufacturing and Higgins Manufacturing. She had also worked as a CNA at Lineville Health and Rehabilitation Center and as a production line worker at Madix Manufacturing. Mrs. Watts attended the Lineville Church of God.
Mrs. Watts is survived by two daughters: Janice Hanner (Robert) of Cragford and Doris Rogers (Mark) of Amelia, LA; three sons: Randall Mullally (Carolyn) of Savannah, GA, Jerry Duke of Lineville and Terry Duke of Delta; two sisters: Inez and Joyce; six brothers: Maylon, Robert, Albert, Ray, Royce, and Jimmy; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and a number of extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents: Malon Mullally and Evie Jones Mullally; her husband, Charles Watts; two sisters: Alice and Marie; one brother, Marcus and one grandson, Steven Phillips.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and until service time on Monday.
